KEPCO KDN (President Kim Byung-il) reaffirmed its commitment to win-win growth with excellent partner companies.
KEPCO KDN held an awards ceremony and signed win-win growth agreements with five companies>
selected as excellent partners for 2012: MCST, ITN, KDT Systems, MTUB, and Time Networks. According to the company,>
these selected partners demonstrated outstanding project performance last year and possess excellent technical capabilities.
The selected excellent partners are exempt from contract performance bonds amounting to 10–15% of the total contract value for one year and
receive additional points in the eligibility evaluation process.
At the agreement ceremony, KEPCO KDN President Kim Byung-il suggested,
“By combining the technical capabilities of our partners with our expertise in the power IT sector, we should strengthen existing collaborative
research and market development, expand support for joint projects, overseas market entry, and new technology product development,
and thereby create successful models of SME support in a wider range of fields.”
This year, KEPCO KDN has strengthened win-win growth with SMEs by expanding previously provided online free training and free support
at KDN Wedding Hall to second-tier partners and expanding CEO meetings into sector-specific meetings to enable practical technical collaboration.
A KEPCO KDN official stated, “Going forward, we plan to increase SME product purchases from the current 50% to 82% and continue to alleviate partner companies’
financial difficulties through early payment of purchase funds and operational loan support.”
